Broccoli salad meal prep
Broccoli salad is one of our favorite lunches. It’s perfect for a grab-and-go lunch at the office or on campus because the broccoli keeps its crunchy texture, even when mixed with the creamy dressing. You can throw the broccoli salad meal prep together in under fifteen minutes and we guarantee you that everybody will ask for the recipe wherever you bring it.
In contrast to the broccoli, red onion, jalapeño, bacon, and cheddar, the broccoli salad recipe has a bit of sweetness thanks to apple cider vinegar in the dressing. The contrasting flavors blend perfectly together, and the Greek yogurt gives the dressing a creamy texture. The best broccoli salad you’ll ever try!
Broccoli salad: Do We Need to Blanch The Broccoli?
We usually do not blanch broccoli florets when making broccoli salad. If you prefer to do so, simply bring a pot of salted water to a boil and then boil the broccoli forest for one minute. Soak broccoli in ice-cold water to stop the broccoli from over-cooking and to keep the bright green color. Pat dry the blanched broccoli.
