Tips for the gnocchi recipe

  • If your gnocchi is tender or pre-cooked, you can skip step 1 and simmer the gnocchi for longer in the sauce.
  • You can make the sauce in advance and throw in the gnocchi when ready to eat.
  • You can use half-and-half instead of cream, but your gnocchi sauce will be slightly more watery.

What to serve with gnocchi?

For a balanced meal, serve the gnocchi with a crisp green salad to cut through the creaminess.

How to keep gnocchi leftovers

You can keep any leftovers in an airtight container stored in your refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave with a tablespoon of water to loosen the sauce.
