This method for cooking mashed potatoes with an Instant Pot is super simple and easy: Place the potatoes, garlic, salt, black pepper, chicken stock, and butter in the insert of your Instant Pot and cook for 6 minutes. Then use a potato masher to roughly mash the potatoes right in the Instant Pot. Add heavy cream, and continue making until you get the desired consistency.
