Ham steak sheet pan dinner
Ham steaks are the best thing on Earth for when you don’t have enough people to justify making a whole ham roast, but still have a big craving for it! With one single sheet pan and 35 minutes from start to finish, you’ll have one of the best dinners ever! Whether it’s for a quick game day fix, a proper Easter brunch, or a no-effort weeknight dinner, these ham steaks, green beans, and potatoes are simply the bomb! For good balance, feel free to throw in other veggies, such as asparagus or Brussels sprouts.
Baked ham steaks with honey-mustard sauce
If anything makes the ham steaks stand out, it’s definitely the sauce. The honey mustard sauce may taste strong before it goes into the oven, but once the ham steaks begin to sweat, it turns into delicious savory-sweet pan juices!

What kind of ham steaks to use?
We like a real thick-cut, like ½-inch thick-sliced ham steaks for this sheet pan recipe. The ham steak is already fully cooked, you just have to focus on getting these crispy edges glazed with the honey mustard sauce, and the veggies crisp-tender! Thinner ham steaks will do just fine but might dry up a little bit while vegetables need to be fully cooked. Each of our ham steaks was about 1 pound, so we cut them in half to create four 1/2 pound individual portions. Portion your ham according to your needs.

Directions
1. To make the ham steaks in the oven: Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Lightly oil a large baking sheet.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, mustard, grated garlic, 1 tablespoon olive oil, water, and rosemary; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
3. Place the ham steaks onto one side of the prepared baking sheet, slightly overlapping each other. Brush the ham steaks evenly with the honey-mustard mixture.
4. Boil potatoes, starting with cold salted water – counting 8 minutes from the boiling point. Drain and cut the potatoes into quarters and place them onto the sheet pan, to the opposite side of the ham steaks, in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
5. In the meantime, blanch green beans in boiling water for 2 minutes, then soak in cold water. Drain and arrange green beans in a single layer between the hams steaks and potatoes. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil and garlic powder; season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently toss to combine.
6. Place the sheet pan into the oven and bake until the ham steaks start to brown and the green beans are tender – about 20-25 minutes. If desired, broil the whole sheet pan for the last 3-5 minutes of cooking time. Serve the sheet pan ham steak with green beans and potatoes immediately, sprinkled with red chili pepper flakes, parsley, and any remaining honey mustard sauce on the side. Enjoy! ❤️
