Children Lunch Menu
Tomato and Tuna Friand
Preparation: 10 minutes

Ingredients list:
For 2 children
- 3 1/2 ounces (100g) puff pastry
- 3 1/2 ounces (100g) canned tuna in brine
- 1 1/4 cups crushed tomato
- 2 shallots
- 1 teaspoon of mustard
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated cheese
- 1 egg
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation steps:
Preheat oven at 390°F (200°c) th6-7.
Slice the shallots, fry them in a pan with olive oil and add the tomatoes. Then drain the tomatoes.
In a bowl, flake the tuna, add the tomatoes, grated cheese, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Unroll dough and place the tuna mixture in center. Close the dough. Using a dough brush with egg yolk.
Bake 20-25 minutes. Serve hot.
You can also make small pieces and serve with rice .
Children Diner Menu:
Cold Carrot Soup
Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 35 minutes
Ingredients list for 2 children
- 1/2 lb carrots (250 g)
- One onion half
- 1 chicken broth cube
- 2 tbsp single cream (30 ml)
- 1 orange
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
Preparation steps:
Peel and cut carrots into slices. Peel and chop onion. Fry in a skillet for about 5 minutes.
Add the stock cube, sugar and a pint of water. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
Mix and then add the cream and orange juice. Mix and chill.
Serve with fresh coriander, finely chopped.
Grilled Corn
Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients list for 2 children
Count one corn cob per child, if you need to make some more.
- 2 corn cobs
- 2 knobs of Butter
- Salt
Preparation steps:
Remove husks from corn and cook 10 minutes in boiling salted water.
Then pass them under the broiler a few minutes to brown a little (or barbecue, it’s even better …)
Plant a toothpick on each side of the cob. Melt the basting butter. Salt lightly.
