Ingredients list for the Broccoli Stir-Fry Recipe
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 5 cups broccoli florets, chopped into bite-size pieces and rinsed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon peeled and finely minced fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch, optional
- 3/4 cup low-sodium vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey (omit the honey if you’re on a low-carb/keto diet)
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce, optional
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes, optional

Directions
1. To make the broccoli stir-fry: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce with cornstarch, then whisk in vegetable broth, sesame oil, sriracha, and honey. Set aside.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add in broccoli, ginger, and garlic, and saute the vegetables until nearly tender about 4 minutes.
4. Give a quick stir to the stir-fry sauce, then pour into the skillet and cook, tossing constantly, until the sauce has thickened and veggies are tender – about 3 – 4 minutes.
5. Serve the broccoli stir-fry immediately over rice, cauliflower rice, or on its own. If desired sprinkle with red pepper flakes or sesame seeds or drizzle with sriracha. Enjoy!

Tips for the broccoli stir-fry recipe
- If you like your broccoli more tender, you can blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for 4 minutes, then drain before using as advised in the recipe.
- We do not recommend using powdered garlic for this recipe. make sure to use fresh minced garlic, it adds way more flavor to this broccoli recipe.
- Frozen broccoli is also not recommended as it would be mushy and watery in this stir fry recipe.
