Bean and Ham Soup is a true moment of greedy happiness. Fun is as much in the eye as in the mouth.

Ingredients: Bean and Ham Soup

- 500 g mixed dried beans: white, black, red …
- 1 slice of ham, 100 g
- 1 slice of cooked ham, 100 g
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 1 sprig of sage
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation: Bean and Ham Soup
Put all the beans in a large bowl and cover well with cold water.
Soak 6 hours.
After this time, drain the beans and put them in a pot with 4 liters.
Add the thyme, sage, rosemary, crushed garlic cloves and oil.
Pour 2 liters of water and cover the pan.
Place the pan on a low heat and cook about 2h30 until beans are tender.
Add salt after cooking.
Meanwhile, cut ham into thin strips and let them brown in a nonstick skillet with 1 tablespoon of oil.
Drain on paper towels.
When the soup is cooked, remove garlic, thyme, rosemary and sage and add the remaining oil.
Mix and pour on hot plates.
Sprinkle with crispy strips of ham and serve immediately.
