    Purchased as a gift in the spring of 2013. Prior to receiving this basket she had been using a waxed cardboard carrier that was used to carry home small potted flowers from a nursery. The waxed cardboard affair met its demise after three faithful seasons. This hod was similar in size and shape to the flimsy one she had worn out. The reason I chose this hod rather than a classic garden trug was because the coated wire basket allows you to rinse and drain your dirt-covered produce outdoors, rather than carrying all that mud into the house and leaving half of it on the kitchen counter. Not an inexpensive item, but well worth the price. I fully expect this product to last for years. Very happy with it.
