Question: “Where can I buy granola bar molds? I would like to make homemade granola bars so my son can bring his snack at school, but I always end up with crumbles everywhere when I cut at the exit of the oven.”

Editor: Usually we call for baking a whole baking sheet of granola, then cut the bars afterward just like you do. But if you’re more like molding your granola bars individually, I suggest you use silicon “financier cakes ” molds like these ones:
- Freshware 24 Cavity Silicone Financier Pan, for sleek bars like the picture on the left
- Freshware 12-Cavity Petite Silicone Mold, for shorter, thicker bars that are more compact and suitable for a lunch box
Also some recipes for granola bars don’t call for baking at all, just like these 10-minutes energy bars, so just fill the molds then refrigerate or freeze until the bars are set.
